Adam G. Nehls

Adam Gerald Nehls, 36, of Uniontown, passed away on Friday November 24, 2023.  

He was born September 8, 1987 in Pittsburgh, a son of Victoria (White) and the late Robert W. Nehls Jr.     

Adam was a graduate of Uniontown Highschool class of 2005 where he lettered in Track, Football, and was a Band Manager.  After high school he attended California University of Pennsylvania and became a counselor at Adelphoi Village, Galeway Health, and Achieving True Self. He was very passionate about the work he did with each individual that he counseled. 

Adam was an avid collector of TV and movie memorabilia from the 1980's and 90's. ALF, Thundercats, Critters, Fraggle Rock and Teddy Ruxpin were among his favorites to watch and collect. He also found joy working the daily crossword puzzles and riding his skateboard. He worked hard to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle with a walk around the neighborhood or a workout at the gym. 

Adam adored spending time with his nieces as he taught, guided, laughed and played with them. He always made himself available to offer support and encouragement whether it be from the sidelines at a sporting event or throughout life. 

Adam is survived by his mother, Victoria (White) Nehls of Uniontown; brothers, Robert W. Nehls III (Jodi) of LaBelle and Douglas S. Nehls (Amie) of Rogersville; 

nieces, Kaydence Marie Nehls, Ellie Grace Nehls, and Emma Faith Nehls; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his faithful companions Tobey and Murray.

Family and friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME (HOPWOOD) on Wednesday November 29 from 2pm-8pm and on Thursday November 30 from 10am until the hour of the funeral service at 11am with Pastor Cynthia Deter officiating.
