Rose Marie Leonard

Rose Marie Leonard age 94 of Farmington, PA passed away November 24, 2019 in Uniontown Hospital. She was Born March 11, 1925 in Farmington, Pa. She is the daughter of the late Guiseppe Cesarino and Mildred (Rohlf) Cesarino.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Elwood Leonard who passed away in 1990, brothers and sisters Estella Cunningham, Ruth Hyre, Joseph Cesarino Jr. James Cesarino and Louis Cesarino, and several nieces and nephews including Joseph Cesarino, A.J. Cunningham, Michael Cesarino, Katherine VanNosdeln, and Bailey Leonard.

She is survived by her sister-in-law Sondra Cesarino of Farmington, PA, nieces and nephews, Rita Lukas (Robert), Wanda Hoy, (Bill), Linda Blackson (Lloyd), Patty Hackney (Dave), Leslie Cesarino (Mike), Tom Cesarino (Jean), Sam Cesarino, Tammy Martin (Charles), and Aimee Cesarino. She was a beloved aunt to numerous Cesarino and Leonard great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Her special caregivers included Tammy, Marissa, Aimee, Linda, and Tom and Jean and children. In addition to her relatives, Rose is survived by the many friends she knew and loved over the years.

Rose was an active lifelong member of Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church. She was retired after serving many years with the U.S. Postal Service in her capacity as postmistress of Farmington, PA. Most recently she was a member of The Mountain Senior Action Group.

Friends will be received in The Donald R. Crawford Funeral Home Hopwood, Pa, from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm on Friday, November 29, 2019. Visitation continues Saturday, November 30, 2019 in Mt. Washington Church from 10 to 11am the hour of the service with Pastor David Herring officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
