Robert H. Metts

   Robert H. Metts, 80 of Brownfield, Pa. passed away Monday April 30, 2018 at his home.  He was born March 19, 1938 in Uniontown the son of the late Joseph and Dorothy {Lewis} Metts.  In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two daughters Joy Wooden and Rhonda Rodeheaver.  One brother Joseph Metts, Jr and a sister Audrey Hall.

Robert was a brick layer by trade and loved to play bingo and cards.

He is survived by his companion, Charlotte Clark Guthrie, children, Charles “Chuck” Hixon of Uniontown, Patricia Retcofsky of Uniontown, Twila Evans of Uniontown, Kimberly Sickles of Uledi, Robert Metts Sr of West Virginia, Betty Jo Metts of Uniontown, Wendy Kulenovic of Uniontown, Joseph Metts of Dallas, Pa, numerous grand and great grandchildren, brothers and sisters Walt Metts, Betty Lehman, James Metts, Melvin Metts, Arthur Metts, Harold Metts, Valerie Metts and Chris Metts, also surviving are his companion’s children, Jeff Guthrie, James Guthrie, Pamela Guthrie Morgan, Kimberly Guthrie Hyducko, Darla Koros and Doug Guthrie

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD, Pa, Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm and Thursday from 9 to 10 am the hour of service in the funeral home with Reverend Diane Olson officiating. Interment in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
