Mary Paroda Obituary

    Mary Margaret {Berish} Paroda,  72 of Uniontown,Pa. {Hopwood} passed away Saturday December 8, 2018 at her home with her loving family at her side.   She was born March 6, 1946 in Uniontown the daughter of Susan Catherine {Fecek} Berish and the late Andrew Berish.  In addition to her father she was predeceased by a son Kevin Alan Paroda, a brother  Andrew Berrish and a sister Dolores Sandrey.

   Surviving in addition to her mother are her loving husband Carl Dwaine Paroda of 49 years who was devoted to taking  care for her during her multiple health issues for the past 20 years until her recent  battle with cancer.  The love of her life.  Two sons and spouces, Carl Joseph Paroda and wife Maria Celia {Basil} of Perryopolis, Pa,  Brian James Paroda and wife Terri Renee {Metz} of McClellandtown, pa.  Five grandchildren, Jace Michael Clymer and fiancé Katie McCormick,  Brandon Tyler and girl friend Kristen Jackson,  Kaylee Alexis,  Olivia Marie,  Vivian Louise.  One sister  Susan Black and husband George “Skip” of Charmichaels.

   Her family was her life.  When she was in her youth, she vowed if God blessed her with a family she would love and devote her life to them.  She more than fulfilled her promise.  She found great joy in providing for her family, especially by preparing meals for the holidays,  her favorite was Christmas.

   She was a member of The Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Her faith in the Lord was her strength, especially during her final stage of life.  She exemplified the Savior through her loving service.  She was an annual   supporter of Project Bundle Up, KDKA Turkey Fund, Abused Woman’s shelter, helping needy families at Christmas time, as well as numerous other charities.

   On behalf of Mary and her family we wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all her friends and  family, the healthcare staff who helped care for Mary.  To her sister-in-law Jean Weisbargh, to Dr. Peracha and Mary from Uniontown Hospital and Amadysis Staff, especially Betty, Donna and Jessica.

   At Mary’s request a private family graveside service will be held at Mt. View Cemetery.
