Margaret Jane "Jill" Tarr King, 80 of Hopwood, PA passed away Tuesday January 1, 2019 in Uniontown Hospital. She was born November 27, 1938 in Uniotown. She is the daughter of the late Burton E. Tarr and Betty Jane (Abel) Tarr.

Surviving are her two sons and spouses, Stephan Bruce King and wife Angela of Walnut Cove, NC and Robert Paul King and wife Marie of Benicia, CA. Her much loved grandchildren, Dylan and Hannah King. One brother Burton A. (Jack) Tarr and wife Joan of Uniontown, PA, her aunt Nancy Workman of Hopwood and blessed with cousins Tom and Heather Workman with whom she made her home. Many nieces and nephews. Jill had many good friends and especially cherished the many members of The Cherry Tree Christian and Missionary Alliance Church where she was a member.

Jill was a graduate of North Union High School class of 1956 and the Panera Girls, she taught school in Laurel Highlands for 35 years.

The family will recieve friends on Friday in The Cherry Tree Alliance Church for Viewing from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. the hour of the service with Pastor David Goodin Officiating. Interment will follow in the Sylvan Heights Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be to made Cherry Tree Alliance Church.
