Janet Selma Gasparatz age 86 of Hopwood, Pa passed away October 12, 2019 at Beechwood Court. She was born January 30, 1933 in Bobtown, Pa. She is the daughter of the late James Stanley and Nellie (Morley) Stanley.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Edward Gasparatz and her son Edward Lee Gasparatz.

She is survived by her brother Sherman Hall and wife Rhea of Collier, Pa, three nephews and one niece Jim, John, Lori, David and spouses and other nieces and nephews. Also surviving are special friends Don and Faith Burton of Uniontown, Pa.

She was a member of Connellsville Street Church of Christ.

Janet enjoyed sewing, painting, and swimming, she worked in retail and sales at Sears and Cluss Lumber.

Friends will be received Tuesday October 15, 2019 from 1-7pm in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME HOPWOOD, PA, and Wednesday October 16, 2019 until 11:00am the time of the service with Pastor Dave Watson and Pastor Mike Lyons officiating. Entombment will follow in Lafayette Cemetery Mausoleum Brier Hill, Pa.
