James W. Miller, 87 of Hopwood, Pa. passed away Friday February 8, 2019. He was born October 22, 1931 in Uniontown, Pa. the son of the late Charles William Miller and Mary Elizabeth {Roth} Miller. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife Evelyn {Stefan} Miller, two brothers and a sister. Charles Miller Robert Miller and Mary Ellen Cook.

Surviving are two sons, Dale Miller and Charles “Chaz” Miller both of Jumonville, Pa. Three grandchildren, Ashley Miller & companion Anthony Madis of Chesapeake, Va. Megan Miller of Lemont Furnace, pa. and Charles Miller Jr. of Brownfield, Pa., Two great grandchildren Leo Madis and Shane Miller. One sister Doris Miller of Arkadia, Ca.

James was a Veteran in the US Army during the Korean War and was a retired steel worker with 33 years of service at Duquesne Works.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME HOPWOOD Tuesday 2:00 to 4;00 and 6:00 to 8:00 and Wednesday until 11:00 AM the hour of the service. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
