Hazel Mae (Michener) Gallo

Hazel Mae Michener Gallo, age 90 of Uniontown, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 24, 2018.  She was born April 9, 1928 in Hopwood Pa daughter of the late David Roy and Ida Mae Martin Michener.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years George S. Gallo and a sister Ruth Michener Hilling.

Hazel was a member of Third Presbyterian Church and attended Cherry Tree Alliance Church.

She is survived by her children Sheri O’Day of New Hampshire, Randy Gallo and wife Susan of Uniontown, Lana Workman and husband Warner of Virginia, grandchildren Erin Stanton and husband Jim, Laurie Gallo, Jonathan Gallo, Alexander O’Day, Wyatt O’Day and wife Julianna, Amanda Jurosco and husband Robert, Cameron O’Day, Warner Workman and wife Rachel, Olivia Wainwright and husband Zachary, Isaac Workman and Isabella Workman, twelve great grandchildren, a sister Irene Michener Altizer and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD, Pa, Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm and Friday from 10 to 11 the hour of service in the funeral home with Pastor David Goodin officiating. Interment in Mt. View Cemetery.
