DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME

Hazel T. Celender age 88 of Chalk Hill, PA, passed away Tuesday July 23, 2019 in Uniontown Hospital. She was born August 26, 1930 in Chalk Hill. She is the daughter of the late James and Luella Turner Thompson. She is the wife of the late Samuel J. Celender.

In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her son James S. Celender and her sister Viola King.

Surviving is her daughter Lou Ann Brown and husband Tom of Chalk Hill, grandchildren Alexis Cox and husband David and Tyler Brown and wife Teresa, great grandchildren Michael, John, and Alexander Cox. She is also survived by her brother Roy Thompson and wife Doris and special friend Harry Miller.

Hazel was the former post office master of the Chalk Hill post office and member of the Chalk Hill Methodist Church.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME FARMINGTON, Friday July 26, 2019 from 2-8pm and Saturday July 27, 2019 until 1:00pm the hour of the service. Interment will follow in Sunset View Cemetery.
