DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME
Frank Ernest Lucy age 91 of Uniontown, Pa passed away October 1, 2019 in Laurel Ridge nursing home. He was born November 3, 1927 in Uniontown, Pa. He is the son of the late John and Mary McGinnis Lucy.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Vivian Mueseler Lucy, a grandson Timothy Aaron Lucy, son-in-law David Turcheck, brothers and sisters Thelma Gillen, Mary Virginia Rich, Ellen Bly, George Lucy, Harry Lucy, Infant siblings, John and Arlene Lucy.
Surviving are his children William (Linda) Lucy of Ohiopyle, Pa, Joseph (Mary Ann) Lucy of Gibbon Glade, Pa, Timothy (Dayna) Lucy of Markleysburg, Pa, and Marianne Turcheck of Rostraver Township. Grandchildren Chris (Heather) Lucy, April (Clint) Ely, Amy (Joseph) Foster, Jennifer (Brian) Nymick, Rebecca (Chris) Reeb, Paul Giles, Casey (Madeline) Giles, Nathan and Mackenzy Lucy. Great grandchildren Devyn and Karsyn Lucy, Logan, Levi, Lucas Garner, Hannah, Patrick, Gracelyn Foster, Maverick Reeb and his sister Esther Lucy Chester age 99 of Washington, Pa.
Frank was a graduate of Uniontown High School class of 1947, he was a member of St. Pauls the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Uniontown and Meadow Run Community Church of Ohiopyle, he worked for and was a member of the Carpenters International Union for over 70 years.
He and his wife Vivian were the owners of the Gingerbread House of Crafts store at the Laurel Mall and operated their craft booth at the Fayette County Fair for many years.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME HOPWOOD, PA, on Thursday October 3, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 and Friday October 4, 2019 from 10-11am the time of the service with Pastor Brian Umbel Officiating. Interment will follow in Park Place Cemetery.
