Faye Takacs, 91 of Uniontown, Pa and formerly of Farmington, Pa. passed away Friday November 22, 2019 in Peroni’s Personal Care Home. She was born April 5, 1928 in Uniontown the daughter of the late David Nelson Show and Susan Pearl Garbart Show. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a sister Irene Hall and a brother who was killed in WWII, Sanford Elwood Show, a niece Sandra Lee Simensen and a nephew David Hall and brother-in-law Howard Hall.
Surviving are her two daughters, Sharon Elizabeth Tranovich and husband Mark of Columbus, Ohio, Susan Lowe and husband Doug of Smock, Pa. Three grandchildren, Alexander Joseph Tranovich of Columbus, Ohio, Patrick Daniel Lowe and wife Stephanie of Uniontown, Pa and Zackary Grant Lowe and wife Heather of Bellefonte, Pa. Three great grandchildren, Mackenzy Lowe, Levi Lowe and Elisa Lowe. A niece Linda O’Dell and Husband Jay.
Faye was a faithful member of Sansom Chapel United Methodist Church, Farmington Where she served as greeter for many years and sang in the church choir. She loved taking care of her home working in her flower beds and watching her grandsons grow up. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME HOPWOOD, Sunday from 5 to 8pm and Monday from 12 to 1pm the hour of the service with Pastor Carol Friend Officiating. Interment will be in Sansom Chapel Cemetery, Farmington.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at Peroni’s Personal Care Home, especially Tony Peroni and Lynette for their excellent loving care of our mother. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made Amedisys Hospice, Uniontown or a charity of choice.
