Dorothy F. Yackanich Resetar age 78 of Uniontown, Pa passed away Sunday September 8, 2019 at Quality Health Care Center in North Port Florida. She was born July 26, 1941 in Trauger, Pa. She is the daughter of the late Rev. Demetrius Yackanich and Pauline (Horvay) Yackanich.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Andrew Resetar, three brothers Demetrius, Gabriel, and Ernest.

She is Survived by her sisters Alice and Beatrice Yackanich of Uniontown, Pa, sister Melany Yackanich of Philadelphia, Pa and brother Rev. Eugene P. Yackanich of North Port, Florida.

Friends will be received Sunday September 15, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8pm and Monday September 16, 2019 until 10:00am when Panachida Service will be held followed by Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:30am at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Uniontown, Pa, with her brother Rev. Eugene P. Yackanich as celebrant Interment will follow in Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery. Parastas will be held at 7pm Sunday September 15, 2019 in the funeral home.
