Clara (Bodnar) Bealko

Clara Bodnar Bealko age 93 of Uniontown, Pa passed away peacefully Tuesday December 3, 2019 in her home with her loving daughters by her side. She was born December 8, 1925 in Masontown, Pa. She is the daughter of the late Gazie Bodnar and Mary (Yobound) Bodnar.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Walter E. Bealko, two brothers Elmer Bodnar, Steve Bodnar, sisters Irma Dabroka, Marie Capiot, Margaret Saluga, Helen Switch, Catherine Storm, and Monica Bodnar.

She Is survived by her children Mary Frances Wilson of Virginia Beach, Rita Wolinski of Uniontown, Pa, Grandchildren Christy Beatty of Virginia Beach, Eric Wilson (Sharon) of Virginia Beach, Rich Wolinski Jr. of Pittsburgh, Pa, Great Grandchildren Taylor Beatty, Meghan Freeman, Trevor Wilson, and Alex Wilson and Brother-in-law Reverend Leonard Bealko of Indiana, Pa.

Clara was a member of St. Francis of Assisi in Footedale, Pa, she was past president of St. Thomas Christian Mothers and member of the Catholic Daughters of America in Uniontown, Pa. She trained first holy communion recipients and was a 1943 graduate of All Saints High School in Masontown, Pa, and was a retired supervisor of 30 years with Gateway Manufacturing and retired in 1983.

 Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME HOPWOOD, PA, on Thursday December 5, 2019 from 2 to 8pm and Friday until 10:am when a blessing service will be held followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10:30am in St. Johns R.C. Church. Interment will follow in Transfiguration Cemetery.
