Mary Margaret Lowry, 90, of Farmington, passed peacefully at her home on Friday March 29, 2024.
She was born July 9, 1933 in Uniontown, PA, the daughter of the late Delbert and Mary (Teats) Spaw.
Mary Margaret was a lifelong member of Mount Washington Presbyterian Church where she served as Treasurer for many years. She was previously employed at Sprouls Lumber for 36 years, served as an Auditor for Wharton Township for 38 years, and was a certified Reflexologist. She also volunteered for the Red Cross for many years after retirement.
Left to cherish her memory are children Frank (Dianne) Lowry, Denise (Gary) Ulrich, and Kent (Trina) Lowry; grandchildren, Brandy (Kevin), Amber (Mark), Ashley, Jamie, Demi, Theresa, Shelby (Brian), and Chad; great grandchildren Cole, Josiah, M J, Adyson, Trever, Josie, Klaus, and Anastasia; great-great granddaughter Lola; and brother and sister in laws Roy (Odie) Spaw and Caroline Lowry;
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Albert "Bert" Lowry, and by sisters and in-laws Erma (Ralph) Van Sickle, Lena (Marlin) Lawson, Marlene (Carl) Hyme, Alberta (Ollie) Leonard, Bob (Nina) Lowry, Martha (Doc) Schartiger, Mae Lowry, Lola Lowry, Reuben Lowery, Dalton Lowry, Edith (Tom) Wallace, Dale Lowry, Roger (Guelda) Lowry, and Viola Spaw.
Family and friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME FARMINGTON on Friday April 5 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday April 6 from 10am until the hour of the funeral service at 11am with Pastor Carol Friend officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Washington Cemetery, Farmington.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mount Washington Presbyterian Church, American Red Cross, and Farmington Fire Department.
